We love you Mandy!
A day and a half. It was after going camping. I went out fishing with my dad and before the boat got on to the ramp I was asleep. Heh, good times. Too bad a shark bit his legs off.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
When I went on Winter Sports, we traveled by train... so I missed one night of sleep (I couldn't sleep in the train).

So I think I didn't sleep for one and an half day.

My longest time asleep? 15 hours is my max, really.
I got to try al little more, because I'm an asshole but I'm learning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfTLkUcQ7QY
I am doing this now. I am actually phisically exhausted and had a moment this morning that I thought I would fall into a coma, but frankly darling I don't give a damn. I'll have time enough to sleep after I turn 100. Haven't had a good night sleep (more than 5/48 h) since... hm... summer of 2006 I think. :-)

I once decided to see how long I could go without sleep one time over summer vacation out of sheer boredom, and I literally made it to 78 hours, but I collapsed and slept for 15 hours right afterwards.
Roughly an entire week when I had my never-ending anxiety & panic attacks years ago. It wasn't pleasant. Losing touch with reality and hypersensitivity to everything, especially sound.

My mom had to be hospitalized after she went a few days without sleep due to taking prednisone (a steroid). She wigged out much worse than me, saying she thought she was dead and stuff.

I don't advise you young folk to try and stay up just to see if you can. Sleep is essential for your health. Ironic since young doctors are forced to stay awake for long periods of time. That practice really should end. It's not safe for their patients.
