you can be anything you want to be just turn yourself inot something you think that you can be, be the great pretender with your tempo
Deaky's amp
Of course the Red Special. Fred used loads of different mics, while Brian remained loyal to the same guitar from the beginning. That says quite a lot.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Roger's mis-matched drum kit
And the winner in the category "Most pointless topic" is... <drumroll>
I'm as mad as HELL, and I'm not going to take this anymore!

For the ANATO, there is a picture of Roger with a kit of different colors. He also used Paiste and Zildjian cymbals throughout the 70's and 80's. Maybe that isnt the "mis-matched" that Green Apple is thinking about.
Well here's my counter-offer... do I have to kill you? What if I were just to kick the ever loving shit out of you?

well maybe..you mean zildjan/paiste at one time? that should surely mis-match lol.. ;))
I though of the topic as whether we preffered Freddie's vocals or Brian May's guitar solos, but I have to say Freddie's vocals (as would anyone) as May's solos aren't that great (except TYMD or Ressurecction (solo work))

haha yeah thats what I meant. I know that in 81' He used at least 1 Paiste crash the cup chimes he used were Paiste and I know that his ride, at least 1 china, hihats and at least 1 crash were Zildjians.

I'm so pissed I could spit.
Exactly how was Freddie's mic "customised to suit his sound"?
Red Special, ofcourse.
