The original has also some distorsion. I did not modify the volume of the recording, i just removed the clicks and pops. I don't know if there are other recordings without the distorsion or if it is possible to erase it.
You definitely can't erase distortion... that's for sure.

I have a copy of the show on CDR with the clicks, and it doesn't have the volume problems. Can you send me an email? I definitely would like to have this show cleaned up once and for all!

May I just say many thanks for this. Completed at (sometime) Tuesday AM - still seeding 19:35.

Excellent show - thanks again.

It's indeed a great show, but this still isn't the best version. The volume maxes out in a few places, so you get some distortion. I don't know who "normalized" this version...

Nobody has mentioned it yet, but if a few people mention it, then I'll share my copy. I tried out that ClickRepair software, and it really is fantastic!

Yes, it is really wonderful... :P

That would be very kind to you if you could share your clean copy, Bob... ;)
Grazie!
Yes ! Please share your copy :)
yes please +++
If you can please add it, thank you
Sir GH - if you want to post/send me the better version of this then I'm happy to fix the pops etc (maybe even tidy the sound up a little). I don't know ClickRepair, but be aware that most of that kind of software uses compression to remove the clicks - redrawing the wave by hand is more time-consuming but much less damaging to the audio..
Sir GH, we are five... is it a "few" ? ;) thanks ++i'm french and it's good to hear freddie says "bonjour Paris"....

Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking!

I thought about that too, but honestly, this software really is incredible. I already cleaned it up, and it's the exact same sound, minus the clicks. But thanks for the offer to help! I don't know what my next share will be or when it will be, since I'm so busy these days.
