balada? Love Ballad? Well if you mean love ballad, because Freddie didn't want anything sappy. He wanted BIG STRONG POWERFUL SONGS THAT HE COULD ROCK TO! Thus is why he ditched 'I Guess We're Falling Out' and 'Too Much Love Will Kill You', he said they are WIMPY songs.

'Breakthru' is a ballad of sorts. Hell, it's a LOVE SONG at least, and lyrically it's a ballad. Just an uptempo one.
