SLADE

Anyone else like the band Slade? They are one of my favorite bands. It pissed me off when I hear someone saying 'Quiet Riot wrote Cum On Feel The Noize"... when it's a Slade original.

I love many of Slades songs, Cum On Feel The Noize, Run Runaway, My Oh My, and a ton of others..

Although Quiet Riot is basically another unoriginal 80s band, I must say I like them quite a bit...and need to listen to them whenever I work out. :P


I'll check into Slade, because I didn't know they wrote Cum on Feel the Noize. But I have also never heard of them before, either lol. Now I'm intrigued.

You will find out that Quiet Riot is nothing more than a Slade wanna be band.. Kevin Dubrow even said once that he idolized Slade and was his biggest influence. once you hear Slade you will see how obvious that is. I still like Quiet Riot, but I will forever think of them as a Slade tribute band or a rip-off of Slade..

They wrote THE Christmas Song...possibly even better than Happy X-Mas (War Is Over)!!! Well...musically. No one can beat Lennon's words!

Slade did a lot of great songs but for me, their best song was How Does It Feel from the "In Flame" album. Absolute classic song!

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Slade!!!!!!!!!!

They were one of the best Glam Rock bands around at the time! =]
