Yeah, it started running! It seems that I had a corrupt torrent of another show blocking my connection. When I deleted it, everything got going.
Thanks for your help (and the cleaning job – usually I don't use such language on a forum, but this is my favourite show, so emotion took over).
By the way, I use Transmission on a Mac. It's the only client I have tried that's compatible with the QZ tracker and it does a fantastic job, though I'm firewalled (overall DL > 250 kB/s, UL > 40 kB/s).

Yes, Transmission for Mac is a great program. It has a fabulous GUI. And it picks up speed faster than my previous client, Bit On Wheels. What type of Mac do you have Nummer 2?

I work with a PowerMac G5, it's a few years old but doing its job well. As soon as my boss finds some money somewhere, I'll ask him for the actual model ... ;-)
Yes, Transmission is great. It's stable, error-free easy-to-use and FAST. But it can't create torrents. I use Azureus for that.
