(Jokes aside, I do find "blonde jokes" really offensive and don't see the humor in them. Why am I subject to being told I'm dumb because of the color of my hair? I also don't think making fun of Anna Nicole at this point is funny either).

I think that Anna Nicole Smith had humility, which is why she took making fun of herself so lightly. However, I can't see where this would be validation for _others_ to join in on the self deprecation. Sure, Conan O'Brien constantly uses that kind of humor on his show - but it's different when he uses it, than for somebody else to say it.
Not to vindicate her, but I think Anna Nicole Smith was just another victim of the media. However, that's the price you have to pay when you accept any sort of celebrity or public status.

My girlfriend is a Polish blonde, and she doesn't mind when I make fun of her despite being a double target. She also makes fun of my spicness and I for the most part I'm cracking up whenever I hear an ethnic joke.
