I will not be purchasing this 70s leather-clad version of Freddie, because I agree with you kids: it's awful! The Magic Tour/yellow jacket Freddie figure, however, looks just like him. It's really quite freakish, the similarity. I got the 18 inch Freddie figure for Christmas (the first thing I said to my mom was, "when I was little, I used to pray that they'd make a Freddie Mercury figure") and was thoroughly impressed. It's so detailed, even Freddie's ever-present 5 o'clock shadow is detailed down his jaw-line. The moustache, the hair - all right on. This new one, though? What were the folks at Necca thinking? It's 1/3 Freddie, 1/3 John Travolta and 1/3 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
