I really don't want to be a dick about this but unfortunately I live out in the middle of nowhere and I only have (on a good day) 0.5mbps upload.

I suspect that wouldn't provide a good torrent.

If anyone can recommend someone trustworthy and good, who is willing to torrent them then I am willing to rip them to FLAC (I've never done it before, but sure there's a good free utility on iMac to do it) - and upload them to one drive temporarily for someone to download them and torrent them, as long as they credit me for the rip.

I don't want everyone downloading them from my one drive as I'm confident my account will last about three seconds and I need it for work! :)

Cockeye, can't you upload it to MEGA? I'm aware of your situation, I also have a 0.5mbps upload speed in the best days. If you want to be sure the file won't be deleted, send me a PM. I have a small hack for protecting files, if you're interested.

I know it's in two volumes and I'm pretty sure one is two discs and one is three discs. I will check and get back asap.

Vol 1 (3 discs) released in 1996, Vol 2 (2 discs) released in 2001.

Apologies that it's taking me so long to reply every time. My mother in law is staying, and my 6 month old daughter has a chest infection which she has had for a month and can't fix so there's not much sleep and a lot of busy-ness going on. I also have nearly a thousand CDs and although they are all stored alphabetically and then chronologically it can take a while to find one.

I have now dug it out - and it is the five disc version. Sadly (and you're all going to hate me for this) I am missing Volume 1 disc 2 - however as this is my favourite disc it may well be in one of the car's CD players. I'll have a look later today.

I will also investigate MEGA this afternoon - any other suggestions of where to upload would be appreciated. Two questions :

If I can't find the missing disc, would you like the rest uploaded at least - or are you only interested in the complete set?
And secondly should I post in announce section when I have uploaded?

Hopefully though, your car has it also.
You could still upload the other four discs, most people only have the mp3's of the set.
As there is official material on the discs, perhaps share download links by pm or email?

Sorry guys. Sorry sorry sorry. Been trying to fit in job applications, full time baby care (a job I am most certainly NOT cut out for, and not doing very well at) and other stuff. I never forgot this, but never really had time.

The good news is that today (of all days) I found the missing CD and checked it on a drive out for Christmas lunch. The good news is it plays fine,

That bad news is that the iMac is in storage for Christmas to make way for the tree so I am relying on the iPad which obviously has no CD drive or CD ripping facilities :(

When the iMac is back up and running I promise that I will get it done but that won't be until the first week of January. I know I've promised and promised - and it will be done I promise.....
