Who forgot to tell this guy that Freddie died?
Anyway, they should get the guy who REPLACED Steve Perry, as they sound exactly alike.
Steve Augeri replaced Steve Perry. Augeri is no longer in Journey due to vocal problems.
No beef, 100% chicken. I just don't like her voice and the songs she sings. I'd say my favourite song is "Say You Love Me", it was sung by one of the guys from the band but I don't know who. I think "Rhiannon", "Dreams" and all those other songs with Christine are crap...

I like Steve Augeri's voice more than I like Steve Perry's. Augeri could sound like Perry when needed, but he didn't sound exactly like Perry. I blame Schon for Augeri's vocal problems. IMO, money was the only thing on Schon's mind and the quickest way to get it was to tour. They toured too many times since Augeri had joined the band. I saw them 4 times (each show was excellent), but many of the tours were really not necessary (Journey/Styx/REO Speedwagon tour; Journey/Foreigner tour; Def Leppard/Journey tour; Evening with Journey 2003 tour). Those tours were not in support of new material. With all of this unnecessary touring, Augeri didn't have enough time to rest his vocal chords properly.
It's evident Schon doesn't value people in his band. Look at Perry, Augeri, and even Steve Smith and Ross Valory who were kicked out of the band by Perry. Schon didn't stand up for Smith and Valory (who was a co-founder of Journey) and he didn't try to keep Gregg Rolie from leaving.
As far as Jeff Scott Soto goes, I don't like the guy's voice and after hearing/seeing some video clips of him in Journey, the guy is nowhere in the same range as Perry or Augeri.
There is a reason why Soto never gained much success and that's due to the simple reason that he's not very good.

Okay, you guys were right, she's the one who sings "Say You Love Me". She sings like a man! I didn't notice this on other songs - hence the confusion.
