anyone else watching the luvvie fest?
i hear Helen Mirren is odds on to win best actress for her portrayal as Roger Taylor in the Queen...

I'll be watching it later on DVR so I can skip the BS and commercials ;)

I hope Helen wins.. haven't seen the movie or anything but I like her.

I shall not watch because I have a play to write out, a Character to build and then some plan for sweet talking the teacher into giving me a passing mark

Helen did win! I loved The Queen, go her :)

I also saw her in Elizabeth I, in which she was exellent too. Hugh Grant's niche is rom-coms , Adam Sandlers niche is comedies and now it seems Helen Mirren has found her niche: Queens called Elizabeth

Are Scorsese and DeNiro no longer friends?

I find it strange that DeNiro no longer appears on movies with Scorsese, and DeNiro wasn't there last night for support.

I'm happy that someone who was from American Idol won an Oscar. Yes, Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar, she deserves it more than Beyoncé :P

I was so happy that Little Miss Sunshine (the grandfather) won Best Supporting Actor! :D I love that movie! And Abagail Bresslyn (sp?) was so cute. I think that was a great year for the Oscars.
