Anyone else see it tonight, something to do with the suns light refracting off the earths atmosphere.

crayons taste like purple when the moon is high
We were lucky that the clouds left a big hole for most of the eclipse, so I could take some photos. I think the eclipse is most impressive when you watch with the bare eyes and not a telescope. It's easy to understand that people in the old days were frightened by the sight o f the moone being "eaten".
