hello dears
i was watching some old roman movie today and i got to thinking about one that i hadnt seen for many years.i cant remember what its called though.all i can remember from it is that the enemy were all killed by the army shining their shields and catching the reflection of the sun in the shields and blinding the enemy and they all fell into a ravine to their death.
anyone got any ideas what film it is please?
thanks

It was that movie with that guy in it who always did that thing, and that woman who liked to do that thing with that guy and it's about all these guys doing this thing and if they don't do it then that bad thing will happen to them.

if i remember right the scenario was much like the one in zulu.they were completely outnumbered and then someone got the [bright] idea of shining all their shields and they all stood in a row and pointed their shields into the sun which reflected into the eyes of the marauders and into the ravine they fell..
but as i say i have no idea whatsoever what this film is called and it is bugging me now...LOL

[QUOTE][QUOTENAME]Miami Vice wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Well, as far as i can remember the only Roman movie Tony Cutis was in was Sparticus. And i don't remember a scene like the one you are talking about in Sparticus. Let me throw a couple of titles out: Demetrious And The Gladiators, Three Hundred Spartans. The Spartans are Greek, but it would be a similar syle movie. [/QUOTE]
ive had a browse with the suggestions youve given and i think it might be the 300 spartans[cant find anything about the shiny shields but everything else fits].cheers danny.

Hey Danny.. do you like movies about gladiators?
I love any movie or documentary that has to do with ancient Rome.
Does anyone watch Rome on HBO? It's on Sunday nights at 9pm...I think.
It's GREAT!
