QPR and Freddie's Queen material should be kept separate.

If it's a new album, how can anything 16 years old be relevant? Let them move on, otherwise it becomes creepy.

Just look at it logically... unless they just happen to have a remaining Freddie song or two that is totally appropriate to the theme/feel of what they're doing, it'd just be pointless. It'd be like Freddie riding in on his bicycle, waving, and riding off again. Frivolous.

This new studio cd is not a Queen cd, it's a Queen + Paul Rodgers cd.

Any demos or unreleased material with Freddie on it, if decent, should be included in a box set, not on a Q+PR cd.

No way. I thought even Made in Heaven was kinda tacky in spots (re-jigging FM solo stuff).

I'm all for releasing demos though, but don't ruin it by mixing new and old.

first of all, i want all of you to know that i love freddie so much
he`s my greatest inspiration and, imho, the greatest voice in rock and roll history
there wont be no one like him

but, this is new stuff
and its a Q+PR album
it`s a new era
and, despite Paul is a great singer, he will never be like freddie
beside that, let Freddie rest in peace
lets thank him for all the music he gave us, and let Paul show us if he could rise the ocassion

and, for all of us
lets enjoy the new record without comparing

Are they going to record the album using John's Bass and his Magic Tour shorts?

Who will play The Gorilla in the new video?

Are they going to spill the beans and admit they really recorded this on Cubase and an old Apple Macintosh Plus?

I think they shouldnt all together forget about Freddie and John for that matter, but I want a whole new original album, NEW!!! Cant freaken wait!! Maybe just a dedication or something to freddie :D :P Ok, maybe not a dedication, but, something..doesnt have to be big or in your face or anything, just there.

I'm sure Freddie Mercury and John Deacon will be thanked in the "thanks to" part of the cd booklet.

This is a new venture and should be teated that way.
