I could really use some computer help.

Not to make myself sound like an idiot here, but I am kind of desperate.

My volume won't work on my laptop.
I checked, it's not on mute.
I looked to see if I may have pushed any exterior super secret mute buttons...and there are none.

Can any of you please help me get my volume back?

I am completely clueless.
