Does anyone think John Deacon rocks? I mean hes okay but not really. Hes a little strange but a great bassist. He needs to step up a little bit as far as his hair and his outfits. Im just wondering so u can say whatever u want. Im always open for discussions!!

John Deacon is a wonderful composer and bassist. He's your traditional bass player, not too wild but is very reliable.
i agree but it would be nice if he was a little wilder. To contribute more to the band. Theres no doubt hes not a great bassist!

If it wasn't for him (and Terry) I wouldn't have started learning bass, and now four months into it, I can do slap bass, play many Queen, Scissor Sisters and Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs.

John's more wild than Brian in my opinion. The difference is that Brian couldn't tame his ol dink so he put it in Aniter's stink! Behind his wife's back!!!

John Deacon's personality its what it makes him special, he doesn't need to be "wild" or something, is just the way he is, but he had his moments, and he's funny in his own way, he's cool, plus, he was very sexy in the 70s, and the 80s...oooohhhhh.....

He never did an interview, at least a whole lot less than Freddie did! I thought Freddie was private until I realized that all the interview videos I've seen don't have John in them! Not one even after Freddie died, Brian & Roger did a few.

A.) He's a great bassist.
B.) He's a great songwriter and probably the best lyricist of the band.
C.) He's a better rhythm guitarist than even Brian.
D.) He invented the Deacy Amp.
Just look at the songs he wrote: Misfire, You're My Best Friend, You and I, Who Needs You, Spread Your Wings, I Want To Break Free, etc.
