No surprise there. I just hope that the extras will be interesting. Highlights from the South American tour, perhaps?

I'm as mad as HELL, and I'm not going to take this anymore!
I've already told you all that there was a dozen years between the "Live At Wembley" home video and "On Fire: At The Bowl" so it will probably be shorter for the next release which I bet will be five years after "On Fire: At The Bowl" and after a new Queen project (studio l.p. and tour) are done which would be in the year 2009. Listen this is great as it will allow the other home video releases of concerts from the 1980's in the meantime to be released in top form on d.v.d. This is EXCELLENT as we then get these releases to hold us over for the next couple of years.
Extras are the only thing that can save it for me.

Already bought the damn thing 4 or 5 times.
DJ's the man we love the most
Eh...why did you do that? Oh! You bought all versions of it? Well, sorry, but I bet this will be best so far.
Montreal has been out on VHS or DVD for at least 15 years. I did buy VHS, plus the various DVDs because they each promised to be "better" versions.

All I expect of this next version is QP yanking out the center channel and telling me it's better. Call me a cynic, but at some point you just stop caring about that.

i like the we will rock you dvd, i find Queen's performance to be very good even if the crowd weren't that great it wasn't Queen's fault but as for releasing it again most fans have got it already even if it isn't a Queen Productions release. it is just pretty lazy thinking yet again from the Queen team with the houstons and the earls courts and the paris they choose montreal 81.

We've got 3 copies of it on VHS and 2 on DVD. There better be some damn extras! :-S

:-)

Now that QP they finally own this concert they need to get their $$$ from it. Brian bitched and complained about the picture and sound quality of the last release, even though (to me) it looks better than any of the official Queen DVD's.

Unless there are some truly amazing extras then its just the Queen cash machine at work again.

I should also add that I did not realize that Alex worked for QP and was privy to the DVD release schedule.

i wont buy it if it is the next release.why?,coz i already have it on video and ive had enough of the same things being rehashed over and over again.to anyone who doesnt know Queen's history they would think they only ever played 5 gigs.montreal in 81,milton keynes in 82,rio in 85,live aid and wembley 86.
just another corporate kop out!
