The members of band fought frequently. As Roger Taylor said jokingly in a 1989 interview "[we] bounce each-other in the walls". But out of conflict comes truth and creativity. There's nothing unusual about the band having an argument. What's notable about this particular argument is that during that fight Freddie told the others that this was going to be his last tour.

Was it not about some sound thing? I know it was Brian and Roger, fighting about how they wanted something to sound. Or maybe a shorter Guitar solo.

I think the Brian-Roger fight over sound was on the '84 tour. The one where Freddie mediated.

Brian tells something about "John was getting iffy" during that show. Watch the full interview on the Wembley DVD. I don't know the full story by heart.
