when did freddie let his moustache grow?

I know that it was between july 1979 (recording of the game)
and may 1980 (video of play the game).
I want to know exactly if it was in the end 70's or in the beginning of the 80's ......
please telle me

It was fake. He won a plastic one at a carnival and decided it looked good so he kept it on.

Obviously by the Hammersmith video of '79 it wasn't grown so you're looking at early 1980. If you're wanting a precise day, time, minute and second... sorry, can't help you there.

As most Queen fans know, Freddie's mustache grows back FAST!

Freddie was deciding on growing it about a day before the 'Play The Game' video was to be recorded. But Three minutes before the video, he decided to grow one... keep in mind.

We all know he shaves his face every five minutes.

he didn't find that out. he knew. even before then. one of his boyfriends influenced him to grow it out, so he did. i don't remember where i heard that, though. it was either from someone on here or...somewhere else...:/ hmm.

Wasn't it that chauffer guy? On the QOL forum I think there was a question thingy and a guy who worked for Freddie encouraged it to him.

If his privacy was his business, you wouldn't be asking WHEN he grew his mustache, as that's his business.
