I search a SERIOUS answer : when did Freddie let grow his moustache?

I know that it was between july 1979 (recording of the game)
and may 1980 (video of play the game).
I want to know exactly if it was in the end 70's or in the beginning of the 80's ......
please tell me SERIOUSLY and in the respect of the privacy he was affecting so much as any Queen fan knows,don't say stupidities about his sexual life as some of you did whith my previous question !

I'd say he grew it when he grew it... hmmm.... or did he?

When he found out that the moustache in his pants felt lonely and wanted a buddy upstairs.

His appearance on the Kenny Everett show was February 1980. I can't remember off-hand if he had a moustache by then (I dont think he did), but it might help you pin-point it a bit more.
