Yes, but I'll continue to insist that it's the stupid and weak ones who get sucked into such simplistic polarization. People who uncritically like and dislike artists are the ones who keep our mainstream in full vigour. I will always stand firmly as a reaction to that. The arts should stand for expressiveness and expanding oneself to appreciate new styles of art, but instead it is polluted by a plethora of bland black and white statements made by the majority. Look at the posts in this topic and others. How many people are eloquently explaining why their tastes are what they are? A forum should be a place to discuss things, not to simply have one's beliefs validated by a few equally narrow-minded people who share an opinion. But unfortunately that's what these places often become.
