Pff, love...don't get me started. If love is a synonym for backstabbing, then I won't ever deal with it again.

Why are you worried about it if you're in 8th grade ?

It's HIGHLY improbable that the "Wonderful, beautiful, perfect, smart, lovely" girl you meet now is going to be the one you end up marrying or staying together with for a long enough time that you share not only "love", but bills to pay.

Also, going after an "ex" is usually a bad idea. Unless something amazing happened, it's best to learn the lesson "When it's over, it's over".

It's really not that big of a deal. Who CARES if the girls talk about kissing ? If it's something they've never experienced and they're interested in it - why are you going to fault them for talking about it. People here could easily make fun of YOU for giving a shit about a girl's liking of Queen in regards to a relationship, which is pretty petty (even if it's "not that important", you mentioned it - and said ALL the girls you "chase" like Queen). Also, the way you put Queen into your opening post is how some people put "Catholicism" into theirs.

If I wasn't so open, I would think this thread is an early April Fools' Day joke.

And I think those lyrics will have more meaning when you go through some actual "struggle" (perhaps a deep personal struggle to find out "who am I ?", or a relationship that you stuggle years with, or no longer living at home and having to grow up and be an adult) - not just, "Omigosh what if I ask the wrong girl to the dance ?!"
IMHO, people spend far too much time worrying about not finding love. Granted, it's a scary concept to think that you'll never find love, but what good does worrying about it do? I've worried myself sick over it a few times (mostly after a few bad break-ups) and it got me NOWHERE!
So, I resolved to just let the chips fall where they may. If love finds me, or I find it, then great! If not, then I've got to focus on being a complete person myself so that I can at least have a decent life alone.
Wanna know what happend when I started thinking and truly believing that? Met my current boyfriend, and it's the coolest relationship I've ever been in because he's older than me (a first for me) and thus is at my maturity level...I don't spend time trying to get the boyfriend to mature to my level. It's strange to me, but I love it. We aren't trying to impress eachother, we just enjoy each other's company. Is it love? Too early to tell, but it's definately something completely new to me.
So, what's the advice? Give it a rest! Making yourself sick over it won't do you any good. You have all the time in the world, so take a deep breath and relax!
