Next Queen DVD Is...Live in Rio DVD

Thought i'd start a new post.

Live in Rio out on 9th April (assuming that's a UK format date).

I assume it's the full version rather than the 'TV slot 50 min version'

Well, seems we already have got it released here! I bought it some weeks ago.
Same company released Live in Japan 1985. Length is 59:25 minutes. And looks not like a bootleg to me, at least it says "licensed by Queen Film Ltd."

Right, cos bootleggers wouldn't think to put that on the sleeve...

I have got hundreds of bootlegs, but I never found something like "Licensed from Queen ... "! Check your bootlegs!! You will see, they are not so stupid to do that!! Licensed and distributed is mentioned, but never any kind of Queen Company! And there is good reason for that!

I'm sorry to say this, but this alone proves you have a bootleg/pirate copy made from the earlier official releases... The only company to have officially released the Live in Japan DVD is Japanese, and is NOT called Quantumleap!

My copy of Japan is not from Quantumleap, sorry! Is from a company called Masterplan.

YES... they do. Look up Queen in Nuce. It's a bootleg and openly sold by Amazon.

No wonder you have problems spotting the differences between official and pirate releases, if you have problems telling the differences between the bootleg labels which are actually written on the package. :/
