I just won two tickets from a NY radio station to see Mick Hucknall and the band playing for a small audience (100 people) in a Manhattan club.

You guys don't know how exciting this is. I've never won anything in my life, and I was very dissapointed that Simply Red wasn't touring the States to promote their the latest album 'Stay'.
The funny thing is that me and my girlfriend were thinking of making the trip to Toronto just to see the band, but looks like we won't have to spend a single penny.

I hope he gets to play a normal set list of songs, but considering that is a free show it might be shorter.

Congrats, Jingles! I hope you'll have the time of your life. A very priviliged gig indeed. It's not my kind of music, but I can see what you like about it. Enjoy!

EDIT: Oh, and what club would that be, btw?

No idea. I'm thinking that it might be a sort of studio rather than a club.

I'm not a huge fan of simply red. But i do like a good selection of thier songs, easy going and generally nice on the ears!
I'm not a river or a giant bird, that soars to the sea, an if i'm never tied to anything i'll never be free!

LOL! I personally don't go past foggy windows in a car when it comes to Public Displays of Affection.

Now 70,000 people!! I bow down to you!!

Congrats Mr Jingles hope you have a great time, personally I think they are terrible on the ears and I would rather sandpaper my eyelids off than go to see Mick the prick but well done it is nice to win a competition.

Hehe! I know Mick can be a twat. I mean, when someone wastes so much money having a ruby incrusted on his teeth, you realize that they're run out of ideas on what to spend their money on.

I still enjoy the music though.

I love Simply Red, in fact i think its my second favourite after Queen, but the Mick guy is and always was giving me the creeps :S
Anyway, congrats and have fun!
The colours that you bring are the basis of everything.
He He I was just kidding i'm glad you realised but no i am not a fan but i did mean the congrats part.
It all went downhill from Stars, which was an amazing album but theyve never been the same since.
Chom own mudder fukker.
