Now Alexis was getting agitated and confused. Why couldn't he just love her? She loved him. How hard was it to return that? And to lie, she really didn't like that. Why would he do that to her? So many questions buzzed around in her head that were unanswered her eyes started to well up with tears...

Roger saw the tears and his heart sank because he knew what that meant. It was time to either put up or shut up. Yet he couldn't say those three little words she so wanted to hear. Because he didn't.

Alexis's tears turned into laughs. Roger thought she was going mad.
"You do love me!" she nearly shouted. "You do!"
And with that, Alexis gave Roger a kiss on the lips. A kiss that was different than all of their other kisses, because now, both of them kissed with all their heart, and now, they kissed knowing that they indeed loved each other...

Roger laughed "You're right.I feel it..it is love." Alexis smiled and hugged Roger. "I love you deeply Roger," Alexis said and then Roger said it, "I love you too Alexis, more than words can explain." He said it with so much emotion and she knew it was real.
