Freddie suddenly stood up and said, I have an idea for a song..It goes like this.
And he begins to sing, "I am the champion my friends..". Both Kaylee and Michelle smile and enjoy Freddie's voice.
But then Brian and Roger interject, and say, "We, dear Freddie, not I. It wouldn't look right if you sang 'I am the champion' on the stage when the rest of us share the stage".
Freddie ignores them both and continues singing...
Brian kicks sand in Freddie's direction..
and Freddie continues singing, "I've had sand kicked in my face but I've come through!!"

Freddie stuck out his tongue at Roger. It was sunset now. Michelle felt a wave of emptiness come over her. The day was going to end eventually, as much as she didn't want it to. In fact, this was the same feeling that seemed to be coming over everyone...
