does anyone think he sounds like Steve Perry, without the raspiness..high pitched voice-same type. I'm sure I'm the only one.

i got it...roger taylor sounds like this person-roger taylor(and not the one from duran duran)
He sounds like Mika and that's the end of it....
Roger sounds like Rod Stewart only Stewart is a better singer.

Actually Page does sing, although not incredibly well.

Roger's voice is like Roger's, full stop.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Lyrically he owes a lot to Springsteen in terms of style, maybe Dylan too to a lesser extent. I totally agree with you especially on his voice being akin to Rod Stewart. He has that raspy voice going for him.
