This has been brought up many times, ('39 being the 39nth song in Queen's discography) but did anyone notice that Brian May is number 39 on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest guitarists of all time?

to bad that list was made like 2 years ago and the song was written 32 years ago. their is no correlation
If there is something like that... it must've just been a coincidence [= or they made it like that because they thought it was funny....
Haven´t you seen "Number 23"?

LOL!
should I make 39 posts to go with the theme?
Evil will always triumph 'cause good is dumb.
Rolling Stone's list is stupid.

Holy SHIT! =O!!!!!!!!
The first album has one track written by Roger
The second album has two sides
The third album has three songs which last less then two minutes
The fourth album has songs written by all four members
The fifth album has five songs on each side
The sixth album has six songs on side one
The seventh album has seven songs on side two
The eighth album has eight live songs on record two (GSTQ is not live!)
The ninth album has nine tracks that are not called 'Save me'
The tenth album has ten tracks which last less then two minutes
The eleventh album was released eleven years after Queen started
The twelveth album has twelve tracks, including B-side SB
The thirteenth album has a track containing thirteen caracters
etc

So I think it's no coincidence that '39 was the 39th tracks from Queen, clear as water..... it was definately on purpose
