Ever notice how fond of 12 strings Brian seems to be? Does anybody know what acoustic songs he DOESN'T use a 12 string guitar on?

And I count Crazy Little Thing Called Love as a telecaster with no distortion.

'Crazy Little Thing' does have 12-string live until Knebworth.

There are several songs in the studio usng 6-string acoustics: 'Love Of My Life', 'Prophet's Song', 'Jealousy', 'I Want It All', the entire debut album...

Otoh 'Is This The World' was recorded with 12-string but performed live on a 6-string.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
i love 12 strings. they are my favorite instrument. i think theyre the most beautiful sound :) i dont blame brian for loving them so much. but theyre a bitch to play >.<
why pay the visit when the visit is free? "this shitty guitar wont play what i want! it only knows three chords!"

YOUR SIGGIE ROCKS!!!

also, 12 string guitars hurts my delicate piano player fingers ;_;
Evil will always triumph 'cause good is dumb.
When you first play a 12 string try to tune it 1 or 2 semitones lower. So you don't have to press so hard. Ofcourse you can't play along normally with songs but it will help you practice
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
'39 live at Hyde Park 1976 is played with a 6-string instead of the regular 12-string. My guess is that Brian used the 6-string only on the short Summer Tour '76 for that particular song.
