freddie mercury piano on gumtree for sale

hey everyone i saw i this site that there was a freddie mercury piano for sale i just wanted to know if this was the real item thanx mark heres a link

This article I believe says his piano is a black grand piano, which is still at Garden lodge. But who knows, the one you found could be owned by Freddie's parents or sister, who are willing to sell it. Who knows??

Before buying the Yamaha Baby Grand in Japan (spring '75), Fred had an upright piano at his flat. Was it the one advertised there? Who knows ... it'd be a matter of asking them for documented evidence.

Ok, since Sebastian needs documented proof. I sent a note to the seller and hopefully, I'll get an answer to if its real or not.

This was the message I sent along with its reply.

I have a document provided by the late Freddie Mercury's mother
detailing
the
history of the piano when the family owned it.
You are quite welcome to meet me and inspect the piano as well as the
document.
I am a property dealer and investor.
The subject piano came in to my possession when one of the families
properties were
sold and they no longer required it. My colleague and I purchased the
piano
from the
family of the late Freddie Mercury.
This can all be verified.
