I hate the mac vs pc debate. And the mac os versus windows debate as well. I like to be happy with what works and don't feel the need to belittle others for their opposite choice to say, my own.

I've always used PC's. Plus a Spectrum and a commodore64! And I have gotten along with pc's brilliantly. Better than how others seem to, i.e. crashes and BSOD. Not much for me. And like it has been said, it's how you treat your machine that will bring about those bad vibes.

I used Macs at my music college for around 2 years and didn't come away thinking, wow, I need to change my ways! No. In fact, I didn't see what all the fuss was about. You know, those Mac users that say Macs do it better and feel the need to get one over on windows?!
lol I saw a video of S.Jobs and one of his cohorts talking about windows. He said something about how over the last 5 years they've developed a number of OS versions (5-6 I think) and then compared how many versions of windows there had been over that same time, i.e. one. And I just thought, eh??? So, they're boasting that they've developed all these different versions, whereas windows has been XP that whole time. How is that worth boasting about? I didn't get that. And sometimes wonder if Apple are getting a little cocky.


Anyway, rant over. I do video editing, music production and the general usage like web browsing, games or say word processing on a pc. As far as I'm concerned, you like what you like and you don't like what you don't like. Simple as that.

Interestingly, I recently installed Mac OS X on my laptop along with Windows XP Pro. It was nice, but didn't get to do much with it. Just scrapped it in favour of getting the space back for more virtual instruments! You can never have enough!! lol My name's Peter Griffin. Good night everybody!
