Sorry if this sounds silly but, does anyone know where exactly in the Imperial College's location did Queen perform their "breakthrough" gig in 1973 (photographed by Mick Rock)?

I shall consult my Queen book to see if it's there :)
[EDIT] It talks about "The Marquee Gig" in '73, three months before the release of 'Queen' (but Queen was supposed to be released much closer to the gig). Is that any help??

There's not much info on these early gigs. The marquee gig in 1972 was important for Queen and a recording should exist in the Queen archives. From the King's College Medical School gig (they played at Imperial College a few days earlier) there's only a handwritten setlist by Freddie whitch survived. This is the setlist they played that night:

They played in Marquee several times, included 1972 and 1973.
But we're talking about Imperial College - I don't think we have any more specific info than "Students Union".
