but, a torrent called "more video hits" (or something similar), containing original material from "Greatest Flix II, III, The Films, etc.." was not so "banned"..

So, if the original edition was a VHS, why should a DVD (which Queen Producions never released) be considered as an original stuff??

Because it´s original and it was oficially released. I know that it´s out of print now, but the copyright laws are still valid. Many bootlegers sell them at ebay and other stores (that´s where i bought my Rainbow DVD!-normally they only sell the Rainbow concert in DVD and not the full "Box of Tricks" package), but that doesn´t mean Queen Productions don´t care. It only means that they can´t fight bootlegers and they know it.

But if they wan´t to shut down a site like Queenzone that would be very easy to do, and that´s what we´re trying to avoid by banning all oficial stuff.

The Greatest Videos 3 torrent you´re talking about if i remember correctly didn´t include official videos, but if it have oficial videos then it should be erased like the other oficial stuff.

I can understand the frustation of doing this to out of print material, but it´s their stuff and their work and their money that´s on the table, so i guess it´s better for us to follow the rules.

There are many other torrent sites where you can find those official torrents, just google it!

ANY commercially released material be it available now or not carries a fixed work copyright.This cloaks the artist(s) with that work.
Basically...you pay or its Piracy (not a bootleg).
Limited Editions.Only available on this..or that.Was only available in 1953.It doesn't matter.
It has been made commercially available and carries copyright.


Now...if you post a link to any copyright work ,you are in effect "an accomplice" to theft of that copyright.

hey all i did was shoot of a critical email filled with the pertinent data regarding the complete failure of the dimeadozen.org hard drives and servers.

no, i was not given the make, the models etc, i just went to an avid music purveyor and musician with a world wide reach of intelligence and bravada in computer science. within hours, it was fixed and i received word that mission was accomplished. for it was within the scope of the isp and dime skirmish (referred to as war then) that was a complete logical trace of mine, simply by the story and critical timeline of the actions between all parties that left the conclusion that a signifigant "cell sector" created attackes in the name of vengeance for whom they believed they were working for dime and dime was not responsible for authorizing any order for dos attacks.

in other words, yep, many people at the right time and place to bring to an immediate halt to all suspicious activities aka threats to anyone using the internet at that time.
