They're gonna do a headlining tour through Russia with Linkin Park.
We love you Mandy!
In the States (at least here in NYC) they will have Cold War Kids as the opening act.

I can't think of a better opening act for Muse than Cold War Kids other than perhaps Wolfmother.
'Hang Me Up To Dry' is a helluva kick ass song.

Muse rules. Matt's mom is apparently a Queen fan, he revealed this on an Australian TV show where he sang "We Are The Champions".

When asked about what song he would like to be played at his funeral, Dom said 'Bicycle Race'.

Are there any other US/Canadian dates besides the Chicago Lallapalooza show?

Actually, this MSG concert isn't even on the official Muse website. Where did you hear about it, Jingles?

This would be a good place to state why I hate the North American mainstream, and all the garbage we have. Just look at the line-up for the '07 Isle Of Wight festival at Wembley:

Snow Patrol
The Feeling
Muse
Wolfmother
Keane
Paolo Nutini
James Morrison

It's being marketed as the "Super Massive Lineup"... I love it!

Those are just the ones I know... the ones I don't know (Kasabian, Ash, Amy Winehouse, Arno Carstens, and The Fratellis) are probably fantastic too. I couldn't name three US/Canadian artists I like at the moment.

Hey Bob

The MSG show has been confirmed at the Garden website: http://www.thegarden.com and http://www.radiocity.com/eventcalendar/eventprofile2?event_id=8327&category=2

and there's even poster ads in Manhattan:

The band's management will most likely do the official announcement in the next days.

Another date has been announced for the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre at Sterling Heights, MI (quite close to Detroit) on August 2nd. The band then will be playing at the Loolapalooza festival on the 4th. Chances are that other dates on the North American East Coast will be announced soon. So hold on because Toronto might possibly be one of them.
