"Wait wait1 Let's just talk about this," said John.
"Why were you in my drawers?" Freddie asked.
"Well I just spotted it and I uh uh wanted something special for Lexie," John said.
"Well that was MY something special for Michelle!" Freddie screamed.
"Ok ok..we can work this out," John said.
"No you're going to work this out! and fast!" Freddie screamed!

Michelle was upstairs now sitting on the bed. Where had he gone off to and why was he screaming?
"JOHN! FIX THIS!"
"John, did you steal these rubies from Freddie?" asked Lex, disapprovingly.
"Yes," Deaky said hanging his head.
"That is so sweet!" Lex went between him and Freddie and kissed Johnny.
"JOHN!" Freddie shrieked. "WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!?!!"
"I don't know," shrugged John, whose voice was muffled because he was still kissing Lex.
"Great. What am I going to give Michelle?"
Kaylee drew herself closer to Brian. The night was all the more beautiful. Camping out was one of her better ideas. Brian held her tighter. It was starting to get ever so slightly colder out.
Back at the cabin, Alexis went up to Roger.
"Shall we go into another room? This is starting to get ugly?"
Roger took her hand and led her upstairs. In the hall, they bumped into Michelle.
"Where's Freddie?" Michelle inquired nervously. "He sounds upset, but he told me to stay here."
"He's fine," Roger lied, for Fred's benefit. "Don't worry about him."
"Okay," Michelle said reluctantly...

"Hey, Freddie," she said just in time.
"Hey," Freddie said, withdrawing from Deaky.
"What's up? You left ten minutes ago."
"I'm sorry, dear." He kissed Michelle. "I was dealing with some difficulties. Can we go to a jewelry store? I want to get you something nice."
Michelle smiled. "You've done enough, dear. This night is perfect as it is."
Deaky heaved a sigh. He was sure glad that was over...
"Hey, Freddie," she said just in time.
"Hey," Freddie said, withdrawing from Deaky.

Then another item caught her eye, and that was an extraordinary bracelet with sapphire and diamonds scattered about. The girls...
