Borat to play freddie mercury

Sorry- I don't see any resamblance... Just because he had a moustache and wears stupid outfits doesn't mean he LOOKS like Freddie...

For someone to play freddie in a film a film would have to be being made about Freddie.

It's untrue. Go back and read the article. It says the whole thing is untrue. Depp will be the choice anyway. Borat isn't youthful looking enough to play Freddie! Think about it, out of the two (borat or Depp) which one do you think they would have an easier time of making him look like a very young Freddie in the 70's? Depp of course! Borat only resembles the MUSTACHED Freddie in a caricature or cartoonish kind of way.

I get the feeling this film will not come to the screen in my lifetime.

Did anyone see Cohen in Sweeney Todd? Between the two main actors there (Depp and Cohen), Cohen looked a lot more like Freddie, and seemed to almost have the theatrical ability to pull it off.

That said, I sincerely doubt this film will ever happen. The musician biopic craze seems to have passed.

I just think that Freddie's features are more refined than Cohen's. Cohen kind of has a bulky nose. Freddie had a very pretty nose. LOL

I wouldn't trust any source that spells the fucking name wrong..
