Ok, this started about 5 mins ago..According to the tv listing, running time is 80mins..Looks like the same old crappy print that was used for my original 1985 betamax version...Guess what they've just done?..Stuck an advert right in the middle of the medley!! :-(...Not looking too good is it?

Que?
I was going to watch it, but I seem to have mislaid ITV3 on my television. Apparently it's supposed to be on channel 10, but BBC4 seems to currently reside there. Oh well, I'll live.
I'm disappointed. They've cut alot of good songs out and put adverts in every 10 minutes. :(
Turns out the show's more ads than music!

You're right Flash!...More adverts than music...At least i've kept hold of my laserdisc version. :-)

I wouldn't have the first idea how to do that. :|

Just noticed at the end of the show, the "Eagle vision" company logo..so, looks like no remastering has been done for the future dvd release. :-(
It was the usual rubbish to be honest. The picture quality was it's usual awful self and the sound, not much better.
freya, assuming you have freeview, your remote should have the option of rescanning for new services or rescan to replace existing services
they've just shown a clip of the band at live aid on ch4,so it appears we are having a good dose of Queen tonight.
^ Haha, I guess that means I'm not the only one watching 'Lucas and Walliams' perfect night in'.

I would have a go, but I'm scared of technology.

it should be easy enough
You strange people...
1. Of course it will adverts in it? What do you expect from commercial TV?
2. Nothing has been cut - take out the ads and it's the same length as the VHS version.
It'll look better recorded onto DVD than copying from VHS would, so I'm happy (laserdisc comment noted). Plus at least they didn't just throw a Magic tour show at us.
