First they say that Johnny Depp is going to play Freddie and then it is announced that Sasha Boren from Borat is to play him...I am really looking forward to the movie...I just wonder if it is really going to happen... I thought they had already began production on it...now I am not so sure...has anyone heard anything definite?

It's definitely NOT Sasha Baron Cohen according to this site and brianmay.com. Who it will be is anyone's guess. I'm not even looking forward to it. Has anyone EVER seen a GOOD biopic movie of a rock star? The Doors story was the nearest thing anyone in the movies has come close to telling it like it is.
Val Kilmer sang great on The Doors movie but it sucked to be honest. I enjoyed it, yes, but I was really mad when I learned that most of the bullshit on the movie was made-up.

To be quite honest, who would actually portray freddie and do a good job of it? The answer is NOBODY, so lets just wait and see what happens.

In a Dutch newspaper, it was announced today that the Borat guy is going to play Freddie. Well, I hope not. Not a good idea. He really doesn't look like our Freddie. He would have to inject an awful lot of silicone into that skinny chin of him so he would look just a tiny bit like Freddie.
Also, it was said that his wild parties will play a very big role in the movie. Of course, they are only going to show his bad sides...!!

I´ve heard that some "bollywood" guy, can´t remember his name nor find the article on google, is going to play freddie. Who knows how the movie will be like. Nah, the "bollywood" guy isn't really a "bollywood" guy. He's the Indian dude from Harold and Kumar and no way is that snob going to get the Freddie role.
