FREE Web Space

Hi

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can get FREE web space (the more the better)

And that I can FTP a web site - rather the use a site builder function

http://www.angelfire.com offers, I think, 20MB free storage (you could always host some files off another site). And 1GB monthly of bandwidth.

You can upload .html / et cetera files just fine.

There may well be a better site, but that's the one I used in the past, and I can say it worked for me just fine.

The one I use, www.50webs.com has a few different plans but my choice was totally free, no ads, unlimited bandwidth. The only catch is a file size limit of like 300k. That's so they avoid stuff like mp3s. And they do have ftp, it's all I use. Just a tip: all your stuff has to go into your named folder when you get to your directory.. can't put anything in the main directory. This confused me at first as I recall ;)

I've never had big complaints about Angelfire... I just host my images on photobucket.
The long URL is a bit annoying. I'm sick of people complaining that there's nothing at 'clam_mccoolness' or 'clan_mccoonless' or variations thereof.

I don't know what it's like, but theres www.freewebs.com as well.
