The article was posted on Brianmay.com, so it's maybe true. I do not find anything remotely funny in the situation if it's true. I can only hope that they find the person soon and Brian can relax. Imagine how scary it must be to be on the kill-list of a mentally disturbed person. The good news is that he has no violent history, so there is hope that nothing bad happens.

Never underestimate Brian May's legacy. Back in 1976, would anyone have thought Freddie would be so highly regarded and missed when he died?

The stalker issue is a problem not only for celebrities it is a problem in the public world in general. We live in a, unfortunately, celebrity-driven media frenzy world where everyone wants or can be a "Star", we watch so-called "reality TV" so our own little worlds become "so boring" in comparison. A mentally ill person will take this to the extreme as in the cases of the George Harrison stalker, or Jill Dando's killer (no I will not give that creep any more fame by mentioning his name), the media today give instant fame to killers and stalkers like the college student who killed all those innocent young people at Virginia Tech. It IMHO lies within the media to NOT give these maniacs any airtime and give the victims the respect they deserve.

As for the celebrities those with "true" talents and those that give their time and money to worthy causes should be the ones who get the respect not the ones with the best PR or the spoiled brats of millionaries who never earned a single dollar of their own fortune and are given loads of air time for not good reason, i.e., DIE PARIS DIE!

It`s in times like this that everything becomes secondary. It would be better if journalists could help a little, you know? Advising the possible murder that the cops are waiting for him is a total desrespect for Brian´s life and familly.

I love Britain and it´s culture but the press!!!?? That´s why in Portugal you don´t see the police guiving any details about little Madeleine´s missing for the pess. They would only harm the investigations.

I'll admit, when I first saw it on the Sunday Mirror I just thought it was a sick joke, but now that you say it's on his website then that's a bit more worrying...

It's completely true (the fact that this nutter's on the loose and he mentioned Bri in a letter left at his property), although the situation had been ongoing for over a week before The Mirror picked up on it.

Apparently the guy also had Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson on his 'hitlist', as well as Brian.

When I saw Brian on Monday 14th May (5th Anniversary of the WWRY Musical) he had more security then usual. It was all crazy. I believe this is true. I just hope they catch the person before any damage is done.
