Anyone here like Sparks??
I always knew of The hit 'This Town Ain't Big Enough' and had a couple of albums but i've recently really got into them and just bought they're new album. I never realised they were still going so strong.
My favorite songs of they'res are Amateur Hour, Dick Around and No.1 in heaven.
Anyone else like them?

I likes 'em
I have about 5 albums, most of which were my mum's.
I like 'Looks, Looks, Looks' quite a bit.. There are loads of songs that I like, but I'm actually too tired/drunk to list them.

I'm not a fan of their music but it is funny to see videos of Ron Mael and his stare.
I enjoy Paul McCartney's version of Ron Mael in Coming Up. Very good, I thought.

i want my mummmmmmy! sobs![/QUOTE]Ron Mael is rather scary. lol. I saw him on Jonathan Ross show a couple of years ago and Jonathan Ross was trying to make him laugh or at least smile. I don't think it worked!
I bought 2 more albums of they'res today, Big Beat and Lil' Beethoven. I've really got into they're music.

I'm a big Sparks fan. I've got most of their albums (except for Introducing Sparks, which isn't out on CD and the first two albums which are still on my 'must-buy-this-soon' lst). Favourite tracks are Profile, Tryouts for the Human Race, Dick Around, Suburban Homeboy, Here In Heaven etc. etc.
Russel Mael is the brother.

I love all those tracks.
Suburban Homeboy is on the album i bought today!!! Lil' Beethoven.
I also read somewhere that the Sparks want to bring out they're own musical! That would be interesting.

Lil' Beethoven is awesome, though a bit repetitive at times (Ugly Guys With Beautiful Girls goes on-and-on-and-on-and-on). I prefer Hello Young Lovers, but they're both great albums (way better than crap-albums like Pulling Rabbits Out Of A Hat or Sparks In Outer Space with 1/2 good tracks).
