yeah i had a bad one 2 days ago....i wanted to go to the hospital ( i was convinced i was dying). im not afraid of going places, but i am afraid to drive sometimes, and have others drive for me. im specificaly paranoid of car accidents. i just assure myself that yeah, shit happens, but the likelyness of dying in one or being horribly injured are no different than walking to work one day and a metal piece of a building falls on your head. it can happen, but its usually out of carelessness. im a very careful driver.
i at least know im not alone in this kind of thing. im finding lots of people have the same problem i do, or did.
thats my schpiel :-p[/QUOTE] My brother thought he was having a heart attack that night, he had pain that radiated from his chest to his right arm. Today I got way cool aviator sunglasses! They look so vintage! I love them! BD (<---That's supposed to be :D with sunglasses. :P)
Sparrow,
I'm not sure if you are still having the lyrngitis problem, but I can help. When I was training as a singer at an intensive, month long camp, I got an awful case of it too...from singing too much (8 hours of rehersals a day, combined with dance and almost no sleep).
One of the profs there told me this: Drinking is the best way to prevent lyrngitis, but once you've got it, it doesn't do much good. That doesn't mean you should stop drinking, as it will speed the recovery process. But since your vocal chords are in your windpipe, and not your esophagus, drinking lots of water only helps them to re-hydrate indirectly. The best way to get it back, the prof said, is to steam them.
It's easy...either shut up the bathroom and leave the hot water on in the shower until it builds up tons of steam...then sit in there for about 10-15 minutes and just breathe in the steam. Or, you can take a bowl of boiling water, drape a towel over your head, and inhale the steam (if you do it that way, you can add herbs that can help calm things down, like Chamomile).
Inhaling the steam means that you actually get water directly on the vocal chords, which is the fastest way to re-hydrate them. Trust me, I've used this method many times, and it works like a charm. It may take two or three treatments, but it cuts recovery time down to a day, max.
The last time I used this, I had just lead tours in the museum I was interning at for 4 days straight, and my voice was shot. I did this when I got home that night and again before I went to bed, and by the next morning I was back to 80% of normal.
Best of luck!

Do you mean the two pictures before the Queen Concert drawings? That is a tree (view from my terrace)on a very snowy day. Ignacio had noticed the lovely birds perched in it and asked me to take a picture.
Nas is a bit like Freddie in that he has a constant flow of ideas rushing through his head.

Different from the others? - Hmm indeed. Individuality is much better than wanting to be like everyone else.
I have this weird vision that one day I'll be watching TV and there'd be a news reporter interviewing an artist(e) whom has an exhibition of Freddie Mercury and Queen pictures... All signed 'Ignacio! The Artiste!'
Does he excel in anything at school at all?

Ignacio does believe he will be famous one day. He's always talking about being 'Rich and Famous'.
Hmm, he excels in Writing, Science and playing the Ukelele(Ukestra), and of course Art. Oh, and he spends lots of time singing for his classmates! (and in the shower) He's also very interested in Photography.
*sings Love Of My Life with you on piano - 'when I grow older, I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love you'* ;)
