I need some advice from you audio experts, I recieved this recording (NY 12-01-77) and want to share it, but is it lossless? There's this strange line above 15000hz , somebody know what it means??

I'd say it's lossy.

Here's the frequency analysis..it goes far above 16000hz, so I would say it's lossless, but I still wonder about that strange line...

I'm no expert at all, but I would guess, that back in 1977 most equipment – even professional – would have some technical flaws, restrictions or whatever, that could cause measurable effects on the frequency spectrum of a recording. Tape quality, microphone, noise filters etc. Even the acoustic character of the venue (PA, mics, soundboard, cables) could have a "visible" effect. In my opinion, those analysis software displays are very easily misinterpreted.

If was told mine is from a CD copy of the first gen tape, so it would be awesome to hear the Master recording. It's surely a great show!

I also have an alternate source that sounds better. It was done on a 90 minute tape, so they decided to pause the recorder between songs. I took the inferior (common) source and spliced in the missing parts, always cross-fading one into the other. The better source cuts out during BoRhap, so I spliced in the rest from the inferior source too. So, it still cuts out during Jailhouse.
Someone once told me, "It's a great recording, but why does it get muffled between songs?" Meaning, they couldn't tell it was switching sources.. haha! So maybe that's the one you have. I did the mix a few years ago, and you know how most Queen collectors don't label their recordings properly... so it circulated, and most people probably think it's all from one source... but it's not!
Anyway, I digress. I'll let you guys know how the master of the inferior source sounds (maybe it won't be inferior anymore!) once I get it.

FWIW, those screenshots look fine to me, IMO there is no indication of a lossy encoding visible, even though EAC sucks for SA and FA ;-)
By the way, I thought the 1st gen version of the longer source of this show was once uploaded here. I think that's the version that circulates with the "Back in N.Y." title (did I mention that giving titles to non-silver boots is pointless...?)

I listend carefully at my copy again but I could not point out any diferences between speech and music. Here is "Brighton Rock" from my copy, would be cool if you could listen to it and tell me which source it is!

Significant difference! The Music is much louder and you can hear them clearly. But it's a bit distorted and lack of bass but overall it sounds better! The inferiour source has a bit more "live" feel in my opinion, it reminds me a bit at the two Tokyo 05-01-75 sources.
