    It's 8.27am on 05/09/2006 here and what a sad day. I have been a devoted fan for over 30 years and was lucky enough to see you perform in 1976 and 1985 when you visited our shores. Performer extraordinaire and musical perfection that will never be seen again. Freddie I am sure that if you were here you would still be strutting your stuff and providing us with the same excellence that we were used to. Miss you heaps and wish you a happy birthday wherever you may be. No-one will ever take your place.

    To the greatest artist, you are sorely missed. The magic you possessed was like no one else. I've never met anyone that didn't like your music. You were a genius. How I wish I was old enough to have seen you live, but watching on your performances on DVD leave all of the live concerts I've been to in the shade. Your music and talent will always be missed. Words can't describe how I miss your musical talent. We lost a genius. May you rest in peace Freddie.

    I still remember the day you died. I could not believe it. Now it's been fifteen years!!! You still are one of the most fantastic musicians that have ever lived. And your voice, clear like a diamond still makes me shiver. Your music does not grow old, it brings back old lovely memories and feelings of my youth, that I thought were gone. Now "radio ga ga" for my 5-year-old son. Though his absolute favourite is "We are the champions". For both of us you are the Champion and your memory and music will go on.. for new generations.
