    Dear Freddie Sorry I haven't emailed you for a while but Merry Christmas. I have written you a poem, it's not a Christmas poem it's about you. life goes on but it's not the same without you. I'm writing this poem from me to you and only you. I still see you in that white suit which made you look as if you had white wings. I kept thinking you were going to fly so high up to the sky. We may accept the fact that you are in heaven but you will never ever be forgotten all us fans you have got which I guess is a lot more than a million. I have memories of watching you on television when I was a child. I feel so happy and lucky that I grew up with Queen's great music. When I see you sing I keep thinking that you are still on earth. When I don't here your music I suddenly remember that you are in heaven. I would love to visit your grave to make up to the fact that you, I and a good many other fans didn't meet. You are just like a family member to us all. We will try not to cry because we know you want us to smile. It doesn't change the fact that we missed you so much. Love you always rest in peace from Sara Jane xxxxxxx

    Fuiste sin lugar a dudas el mejor cantante de la historia del rock. Lo tenias todo: fama, talento, energia, fuerza, expresividad. No creo que haya ningun cantante que sepa conectar con el público como tú lo hiciste. Grtacias a ti me gusta la música. Antes no le daba mucha importancia pero cuando te escuche a ti y al grupo, entendí lo que era la música de verdad. Te has ido, pero tu espiritu sigue aqui con todos los fans de queen. Hubiese dado todo lo que fuera por tener la edad que tengo ahora (25) y vivir los 70 o 80 solo por verte a ti en accion. Vi a tu grupo en acción el año pasado en Barcelona y creeme que te examos todos de menos. Pero sigues vivo en el corazon de todos tus fans de todo el mundo como lo demuestran los miles de mensajes que escriben. Eres el mejor Freddie!!!!!!! Viva Queen!!!!

    i was born 5 months after freddie mercury died and he is my inspiration to write and preform music. i am now 15 and my favorite song is 'In My Defence' No amount of words can express how i feel about this individual. I still cry at the thought of this magnificent mans death, he has had i massive impact on my life. i just wish he was alive.......

    I've been trying for a lot of years to express my feelings for Freddie and Queen, but I just think words are not enough... Freddie, you have enriched my life, you have contributed to my formation as a person, you have given me an identity... I have such an acute sense of loss, yet I feel you are so alive... I love you so deeply... Seems that you turned out to be the one who will live forever...
