Dearest Freddie, I watched the tribute videos and I listen to the songs, all I can do is think about what a wonderful life you lived, and how even though you were very private. Your life impacted many others. I cry when I watch those tributes. Knowing that there are so many of us who wish to meet and speak with you and thank you. For everything you gave the world. We all love you Freddie, know that. Rest in Peace.

Freddie, you are the best that ever happened to me! Your voice and your music is the most magnificent sound that came to my ears! Although you left us long time ago, you will be immortalized and eternalized in your work, in queen, and your performances of the past. May the left-alones in your band cope with the sorrow and as well all fans do so! No one will ever forget about you! Goodbye... Julius

freddie mercury. the name it self sends chills down my back. the thought that i have no chance to meet my biggest idol and inspiration kills me every day. i would give every last breath to have half of the talent that this man had. being a lover of the choral music and classic rock i have come to appreciate the voice of freddie mercury so much. any rock singer that can turn around and record an album with one of the most renound opra singer is more than an artist. i am more than greatful for the works that he and the amazing band queen gave us during his time on this earth. there will never be and equal

Freddie you rock, you are like a god for me. I wish you were here so the new generations would know who really rocks. Maybe it's a coincidence that you died in the same year I was born...

1975 - Sheffield City Hall. 1982 - Leeds Ellend Road . 1985 Knebworth Park' The three best gigs that I have ever seen. I am 48 years of age and I grew up with Freddie and the team. Every song has a memory attatched. Overiding memories of each gig are: Sheffield - Brighton Rock and Brians guitar solo (ohhhhh). The first time I ever saw Freddie sing Bohemien Raphsody (mint!!!!). One massive bang at the end of the gig (bonfire night!). Missing the last train home. Trying to get to sleep with the sound of QUEEN in my mind. Not going to school the following morning. Talking about the gig constantly for the next 2 months. Trying to play the intro to Brighton Rock on my axe for the rest of my life (to date still trying). Leeds - A scorching summers day. Not being allowed to take drinks (of any kind) into the stadium. Heart!!!!. Having my chest thumped by Rogers base drum during the sound check. Getting pissed on Vodka as I listened to Julian Cope and watching him get slaughtered by the crowd. Flash intro (sublime!!!!!). Love of My Life (supreme Freddie at his vocal best). Now I'me Here (I was there!!). Drinking 2 pints of water that I blagged from a fellow Freddie fan as we left the ground ( I have never been so de-hydrated in my life). Having the following week off work and trying to play Brighton Rock in front of the mirror. Knebworth - Queing to get into the park at about 10:00 in the morning. Car overheating. Setting up camp at 13:00 about 50 meters from the stage. Watching MTV on the big screens. Listening to Money For Nothing being cranked up as it was played on MTV. Talking to some girls about how good Freddie had been at Wembley Sadium. Trying to find a toilet and then pissing into a plastic bin whilst watching a 100,000 plus crowd assemble. Watching some idiot in a bi-plane trying to kill him self by crashing into the crowd. Watching a big helicopter circle overhead (yes I was looking straight into the camera for this one!!!!!!). Big Country!. Trying to find my girlfriend woh had gone to the loo about 1 hour ago. Finding my girlfriend whilst still gaining my position near the front!!. Trying to get to sleep whilst Qou were on (or off). Wondering why an ambulance was trying to make a road through the crowd? Watching Freddie and the lads back stage on the big screen whilst into was crankin up. Seven seas of Rye (superb!!!!!!). WATCHING THE CROWD BEHIND ME CLAPPING TO RADIO GA GA (could not see the back!!)> Being sqashed in the crowd as we left the gig. The lights going out as we left the park (panic). Walking the mile or so back to the car. Attempting to get away from the park at about 01:00 the following morning and giving this up as a bad job. Sleeping in the car. Queing to get out of the park at 07:00 the folowing morning (yes, this was some major gig!!!!!). Getting home at 10:00 Sunday morning and crashing out in bed for the rest of the day. Spent the following week (and the rest of my life to date) trying to re-create Brighton Rock in front of the miror on my hand built "Special Red". In short my life is chronicled in songs by Queen and the memory of one very special front man who as far as I am concerned (and a few million besides) STILL LIVES ON! - rok on!!!!!. Some may say boring bastard but I say "who cares -IT WAS A KIND OF MAGIC"
