   I would have been very interested how queen would have stood up in todays battle of the bands had freddie still been around. I suspect freddie would'nt be so animated on stage anymore as by now he'd be 61 but they'd stll be touring I'd hope with even more exiting material. It's just a great shame history wasn't different as they would have graced the new wembley stadium without a doubt and probably by now would have regained the american publics interest. I am glad to see them reformed with Paul Rodgers with possibly a new album being made but he'll never ever replace freddie, and queen will never be as big as they were in 1986 which was the year I would say they really began to make an impact again. It's just a great tragedy as todays bands are just medicre and predicable compared to Queen. Why can't todays bands be as versitile as queen were and have all members write songs, that's what gave Queen the edge I'd say. Freddie was an absolute genious and the music industry is suffering without him.
