Freddie makes me glad to be alive just by hearing his voice. When I hear him sing I believe that everything is possible. He's still very alive in us.

Twelve years ago, when I was in the hospital giving birth to my only son, I was near death after 46 hours. I was hooked up to IV's, had sprained both my wrists on the bed rails and was about to give up. Then, the video These Are The Days Of Our Lives came on the t.v. in my hospital room. As I watched that video and saw Freddie looking as close to death as I'd ever seen him, I was inspired to keep fighting. I cried watching that video. Seeing his pale, thin face; knowing that he didn't live much longer after making that video... I was heartbroken. Inevitably, I was rushed to surgery and my son was delivered by C-section. They discovered I have a condition called cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD) and he was never going to be delivered naturally. In the old days, we both would have died. Today, he is a healthy twelve-year-old boy and my only son. Thank you, Freddie, for getting me through that and for all the music you've created that lives on and on. After all these years, you're still my inspiration. I miss you.
