freddie mercury was absoultely incredible. he once said he would not be a rock star, he would be legend. freddie darling, only a man of yor extreme talent and wonderful persona (and great fashion taste by the way) could be justified in have such a large ego. you are sorely missed and as a younger fan, i wish i would have been able to see you perform live.unfortunatly, all legends die too early. you couldn't live forever, but your music will. thank you so much.

I am a little out of place among all of these young fans who discovered Queen after they were born. I am much older and was never a rock fan. I paid little attention to Queen or any other band. I saw Queen Rock Montreal on public television recently and I was shocked at what I heard and saw. I had already loved "We are the Champions" and never paid attention to the composer or the band. After reading the stories of the lives of these four amazing, talented men, and especially Freddie, I am listening to the music of Queen on a daily basis. A baby who was born in Zanzibar 62 years ago has turned my world upside down--17 years late. I am adding to that lake of tears, Freddie. It is impossible that there could ever be another performer like you. Shirley, USA

Freddie was the main reason I pursued a career in rock n' roll. He was and still is the ultimate showman. Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody to Love are the best songs in the last 50 years of rock n' roll. Freddie, you are my idol and I miss your amazing voice...
