Freddie, love I bought "Sheer Heart Attack" today! It's much better lounging around in my room and listening to it than having to sit in front of a computer and listen. I also figured I'd support the guys by buying a copy of the album. Piracy is bad! I also bought new shoes today, darling! Not that you should really care, shoes are shoes. I love them though! They are Kangaroos, dear! They were very popular in the '80s as I'm sure you know. They were also $54.99, so they had better hold up well! My mother was tired of my Skechers old skools and my Nike Cortez, so I bought those. They're lime green and blue! I love them, darling! I've been listening to Flick of the Wrist all day! Brilliant song. That album is great. Truly. Some of the songs from it I already had downloaded were screwed up, so it was nice to hear the album in its entirety without the flaws! Love, I have to try out for the school musical tomorrow! We're doing "The Boyfriend". I'm looking forward to it, because no matter what part I get, I get to use an accent. I need accents for my acting resume. I want to be Mlle. Dubonnet, I love the French accent. She's an entertaining character too, with rather a large part. Only three musical numbers, so it's not too much to learn. I can get whatever part I want, I'm the "Star" at my school acting-wise, but I think I'll go for a part that isn't the lead for once. Give someone else a chance to shine. You understand what I'm talking about, love? Hopefully, because I don't want just to be rambling like I usually do! I think I'm going to listen to Sheer Heart Attack on the way to school. My mother doesn't like "In the lap of the gods (revisited)" though. Don't know why. Freddie,you truly were the best rock singer in the world.My higest wish is to have seen you with the rest of the guys on stage,but as I am born in the late 80´s... No one had a voice like yours,or moved like you on stage.God bless you,R.I.P!

hello love. i miss you. i still cant believe the crap people listen to, and then say is better than you and the boys. you know i was listening to teo Torriate today. i listened to it about 5 or 6 times. i love that song. you sound so elegant. well i havent got much time now, so ill leave you with this. you are amazing. i love you dearly. your spirit will live on forever as long as we keep it alive in our hearts. you will never be forgotten. yours forever~queenfan

oh one more thing. kukuzzz, that is a wonderful point, and i totally agree! what bloody nonsense!!!! i believe Freddie is one of the most talented vocalists in the history of Rock. and he worked himself so hard till he died. he was amazing and should be remembered as that forever.love always~queenfan

Hi everyone and Freddie... I was looking through some of the music reviews online and stumbled upon one for Queen... unfortunately the reviewer was not too favorable for Queen's music.. His best words for Queen was "bombastic... overdubbing of vocal... heavy instrumental... decline after the album Jazz... turning their attention to Asia and South America (which were ignored by most rockers)..." I thought right away, "oh my gosh this guy is so damn prejudiced!" Apparently his idea of the greatest metal rock is Metallica and the sort... I don't mind Metallica, or any other band... but he didn't have to use words like "Quasi-operatic" or "pseudo-classic", because that is NOT true! There's hardly another band that is so diverse musically. Queen has songs for everyone, from a jazz fan (like me) to ballad to hard rock to synthesizer pop to heavy metal to operatic rock to country-style to glamrock to ... etc etc etc. What I realized was that it is so true that reviewers often pick on the best groups to tear apart... They get obsessed on a very few flaws that they never see the bigger picture, which is both insulting and enraging. Even if the reviewer is not a diehard Queen fan like me, I think they should listen and think before they write any rubbish like "bombostic". There are plenty other good words to describe them, like "Majestic". And what is so wrong (???) with integrating classic or operatic elements into rock? OK, let me correct myself, it is a GOOD thing as far as I knew! Before Queen's Borhap I hardly listened to rock, just considering it as some noisy genre... because of Queen's highly individual vocal and beautiful instrumental parts, I slowly got into the beauty of rock music and don't mind heavier music nowadays. AND, is there a better vocalist (in terms of range and quality) than Freddie Mercury in the entire history of rock? I'd be glad to know one, because I don't know any! Queen may not be the most-selling rock group in the entire history, but their position in the history will be untouchable by any other group, and especially Freddie's. His voice got better and better in terms of finess and technique, and had he lived, he'd gone into musical and other sophisticated genre and suprised us with more of his wonderful musical gift. He truly was diverse and adventurous... what kind of a Brit rock group sings in Arab or Japanese? Well, anyways, just a mad rambling after reading a crappy review by someone who has nothing better to do. Queen is absolute and divine, and so is their music!
